Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Houston Man on Wuthering Heights Drive

A 30-year-old man, Marlon Weatherspoon, has been arrested and charged with murder following the fatal shooting of Brandon Davis, 34, on November 26, 2024. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at a residence located at 4131 Wuthering Heights Drive.

Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers responded to the scene and found Davis with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the driveway. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived shortly after and pronounced Davis deceased.

Investigators quickly identified Weatherspoon as the suspect in the shooting. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and on November 27, a murder charge was filed against him.

Weatherspoon turned himself in to the Harris County Jail on Saturday, November 30, and was booked without incident. He is now facing a murder charge in the 495th State District Court.
