Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Northside/Northline Area

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that took place on Wednesday, February 28th, at around 3:20 p.m. The incident occurred at 9700 Goldcrest Street in the Northside/Northline area.

The victim, an 18-year-old male, was found inside his vehicle in a ditch with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics rushed him to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

As of now, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in connection with the shooting.
