Houston Police Investigate Death of Man Found in South Side Street

Houston police are currently investigating the death of an unidentified man, believed to be in his 60s, who was discovered at 4500 Hull Street in the South Side of Houston. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on October 25, 2023.

Officers from the Houston Police Department responded to a call reporting a person down at the above-mentioned address. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim lying in the street. Tragically, paramedics on the scene pronounced the man deceased. He displayed visible injuries to his head.

Initially, detectives suspected that the injuries might have resulted from gunshot wounds. However, members of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences have since identified indications that the injuries may have been caused by blunt force trauma.

As of now, there are no known witnesses to the incident, and the authorities have not identified any suspects. To determine the exact cause of death, an autopsy is currently being conducted on the victim.
