Houston Doctor’s License Suspended Amid Indecent Assault Charges
On February 5, 2024, the Texas Medical Board took action by temporarily suspending the medical license of Dr. Kozhaya Chehade Sokhon, M.D. (Lic. No. M9668), without prior notice. The disciplinary panel determined that Dr. Sokhon’s continued practice of medicine poses a significant threat to public welfare. The suspension came into immediate effect.
The Board’s decision followed Dr. Sokhon’s arrest and charge with Indecent Assault by Health Care Provider, classified as a state jail felony, by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office around February 2, 2024.
