Hit-and-Run Incident Claims Pedestrian’s Life on Lake June Road
Late Saturday evening, tragedy struck on Lake June Road when a hit-and-run incident resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 pm when an unidentified vehicle, potentially a pick-up truck, was traveling westbound in the 9200 block of Lake June Road.
According to eyewitnesses and preliminary reports from the authorities, the vehicle struck a pedestrian and callously fled the scene, leaving the victim to succumb to their injuries. Tragically, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders who arrived shortly after the incident.
Law enforcement officials are now actively investigating the hit-and-run, urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They believe the suspect vehicle should exhibit noticeable front-end damage as a result of the collision.
