High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash in East Houston: 18-Year-Old Apprehended

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, Precinct 8 Deputy Rivera from Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle in the 2300 block of E Sam Houston Pkwy S. The driver, later identified as 18-year-old Nathan Sandro Flores, failed to yield, sparking a pursuit.

The chase continued as the vehicle exited onto Woodforest Blvd, maintaining a high speed and disregarding traffic signals. The situation took a dangerous turn when the vehicle lost control at the Wallisville Rd intersection, colliding with two other vehicles.

Following the crash, law enforcement swiftly apprehended Flores. He was subsequently identified and charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted the charges.

Nathan Sandro Flores was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, where his bond was set at $20,000.
