Harris County Deputy Interrupts Child Sex Abuse, Arrests Suspect

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, a deputy with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office was investigating a theft case in the 21800 block of Mossy Field Lane when she heard a loud noise disturbance nearby.

Complainants reported that a known male was foundling a child and recording himself while in the act. Deputies detained the suspect and identified him as 20-year-old Larry Donnell Brooks.

During the investigation, it was also discovered that Brooks had three outstanding felony warrants out of Harris County: two for Burglary of a Habitation and one for Aggravated Assault.

Brooks was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the outstanding warrants and charged with Indecency with a Child. His court and bond information have not been set at this time.
