A Conroe man is facing a felony charge after allegedly taking photos of an underage child on a Galveston beach. 31-year-old Taylor Kyle Roy was arrested on April 30th and booked into the Galveston County Jail on a charge of invasive visual recording, a state jail felony. His bond was set at $75,000.
Galveston police responded to a call in the 1500 block of Seawall Boulevard at approximately 4 p.m. on April 19th. The report indicated that a man was seen recording and/or photographing a minor child.
According to police, a bystander alerted the child’s family to the alleged activity. The family reportedly attempted to approach the individual and obtained images of the suspect and his vehicle.

Constable Gable’s Office acknowledged Roy’s arrest in Galveston, stating their awareness of the incident involving the recording of a minor on a beach. Roy also has an active, pending case in Montgomery County filed in April 2024 by Constable Gable’s Office.
