Five Arrested in Amarillo Sting Operation Targeting Online Solicitation of Minors

The Amarillo Police Department reported the arrest of five individuals in connection with an online operation targeting the solicitation of minors over the weekend. The operation, conducted jointly by the Special Victims Unit and the Proactive Criminal Enforcement Unit on January 26, focused on online solicitation of a minor.

Officials revealed that APD officers created online profiles with the purpose of identifying potential suspects, placing them on various social media sites. Through a series of online chats, the suspects were instructed to meet undercover officers at a specified residence for the purpose of engaging in sexual activities. Multiple chats occurred at various times during the operation.

The undercover officers successfully apprehended and charged the following individuals with second-degree felony online solicitation of a minor: Saul Reyes (24 years old), Bryson Munselle (27 years old), Eric J Rodriguez (19 years old), Demarcus St Julian (37 years old), and Andrew Trejo (20 years old).
