Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on 610 West Spurs Police Investigation

A fatal hit-and-run crash is under investigation by Houston police that occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. on Thursday (February 22) at 1200 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) service road.

The identity of the male victim is yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The victim was crossing the North Loop West service road near the mentioned address when he was struck by a black Honda Pilot heading eastbound on the service road. The driver of the Pilot failed to stop and fled the scene.

Emergency responders from the Houston Fire Department arrived, and paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
