Fatal Crash Under Investigation on Martin Luther King Boulevard, 54-year-old Man Dies

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Tuesday night at 5000 Martin Luther King Boulevard around 10:25 p.m.

According to authorities, a 54-year-old male was driving a silver Volkswagen Beetle northbound on Martin Luther King Boulevard when the vehicle veered off the roadway. The car struck a curb, two fences, and subsequently rolled over.

Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the driver deceased.

The identity of the deceased individual is being withheld pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
