El Paso Police Officer Injured by Fleeing Vehicle
Yesterday morning, an employee from Walmart notified an 11-year veteran officer working extra duty security that a male had walked out of the store without paying for items valued over three hundred dollars.
As the officer left the store, he observed the male abandon the shopping cart and run toward a Honda Civic.
The officer attempted to stop the male from fleeing. However, the man refused to stop and ran over the officer’s foot as he fled the scene.
