Ector County Jury Delivers Three Life Sentences Without Parole for Child Sex Abuser

An Ector County jury has found Timothy Queen guilty of three counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child: Victim Under 14, a 1st Degree Felony, and sentenced him to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
The conviction stems from sexual assaults committed by Queen against three victims under the age of 14 between 2007 and 2016. The crimes came to light years later when one of the victims made an outcry after Queen sent inappropriate text messages. Subsequent investigations revealed that Queen had also sexually assaulted two other children.
The trial was presided over by Judge Denn Whalen of the 70th District Court. The Ector County District Attorney’s trial team included Assistant District Attorneys Jennifer Bassett and Juhree Rodriguez, Investigator Greg Palacios, Victim Coordinator Ivette Ramirez, and Paralegal Izdel Nieto.
“Today, the jury held Timothy Queen accountable for the unthinkable harm he inflicted upon innocent children,” the Ector County District Attorney’s Office stated. “We are grateful to the survivors for their strength and courage throughout this process, as well as the Ector County Sheriff’s Office for their work in this case.”
