Double Homicide and Apparent Suicide Being Investigated in Central Southwest Houston

Houston Police are currently investigating an incident that occurred on Monday evening at 4914 Danfield Drive in Central Southwest Houston. Authorities responded to reports of gunshots around 7:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman with gunshot wounds in the backyard of the residence. Inside the home, they found another man who appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. All three individuals were pronounced deceased by paramedics from the Houston Fire Department.
The identities of the deceased, including a 67-year-old man, a 73-year-old woman, and a 23-year-old man believed to be the suspect, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect was a relative of the victims.
