Deputies Apprehend Woman for Theft from Grieving Mother at Cemetery

On Monday, April 8, 2024, Harris County Precinct 6 deputies, aided by the VIPER Task Force, apprehended Latoya White on charges of Burglary of a Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse.
White allegedly seized a purse from a vehicle while the owner was tending to her daughter’s grave at a cemetery. Following the theft, White purportedly tried to make purchases amounting to almost $500 using the victim’s credit card at a nearby Walgreens.
