HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A convicted felon was arrested following an overnight robbery that left him injured on Sunday, authorities said.

Deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded during the early hours of December 29th to the 11100 block of Huffmeister Road near Cypress after reports of a robbery. Investigation revealed that the suspect, later identified as 32-year-old Levi Lindley, robbed two businesses while concealing his hand in green fabric, leading victims to believe he was armed.

During the incident, one business owner fired a shot in the suspect’s direction. Lindley fled on foot, prompting a search that initially failed to locate him.

On Dec. 30, deputies found Lindley with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later released. Lindley was then arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of robbery. His bond has not yet been set by the 262nd District Court.
