Conroe Police Fatally Shoot Man in Domestic Altercation
On March 11, 2024, at around 11:30 pm, two Conroe Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance report in the 14700 block of Callard Ct in the Chapel Run subdivision.
Upon arrival, they received no response at the front door but heard a female screaming inside. The officers entered the home by force and discovered a male involved in a physical altercation with a female, who was holding a weapon.
Despite attempts to deescalate, the male pointed the weapon at the officers, prompting them to discharge their weapons, resulting in his death. The female victim was unharmed.
The incident is under investigation by Conroe Police Detectives and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. The name of the deceased is withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains active.
