Numerous motor vehicle burglaries were reported in South Montgomery County on the afternoon of Saturday, April 6. Authorities were alerted to the incidents and identified a suspect vehicle: a light blue Chevrolet Tahoe with a temporary license plate.
As law enforcement responded to the calls, a Shenandoah officer spotted a vehicle matching the description heading northbound towards Tamina.
The officer, joined by a Deputy from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspects evaded capture. The vehicle led officers on a pursuit from The Woodlands into Harris County, eventually crashing into a tree near the entrance to an apartment complex.
Both occupants managed to flee on foot and are currently at large.
The investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
