Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force Seizes $10K Worth of MDMA in Angleton Drug Bust

On January 2, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., the Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Brazoria County Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Cemetery Road in Angleton, Texas, following a three-month-long narcotics investigation.

During the search, investigators seized 175 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy) and 6.7 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $10,000.

Two suspects, Stedman Franklin, 36, and Shaniqua Medley, 31, were arrested at the scene and are facing felony charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

The operation underscores the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office and the Narcotics Task Force’s ongoing efforts to combat drug distribution and enhance community safety.
