Armed Suspect Apprehended in Cypress After Discharging Firearm

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of a male discharging a firearm into the air in front of a residence on January 7, 2024, in the 20000 block of Golden Sycamore Trail in Cypress. The suspect fled on foot before deputies arrived.

Constable Deputies conducted a search in the Fairfield community and successfully located the individual. Upon detainment, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Christian Bell. Further investigation revealed that he had also brandished the firearm towards a family member.

Christian Bell was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Aggravated Assault. His bond was set at $20,000.00 by the 339th District Court.
