Constable Deputies Apprehend Burglary Suspects with Stolen Equipment Near George Bush Intercontinental Airport

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office, on January 8, 2024, located a vehicle associated with multiple recent burglaries in the 21900 block of Aldine Westfield Road near George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

A traffic stop was conducted, revealing construction equipment in plain view, along with the smell of burning marijuana. Occupants 19-year-old Kelvin Tarver and 21-year-old Hashma Castillo were detained.

During a search, Constable Deputies discovered stolen equipment valued at over $3,000 inside the vehicle. The victim, upon arrival at the scene, positively identified the recovered items. Subsequently, Tarver and Castillo were arrested for felony theft and booked into the Harris County Jail.
