Amber Alert: Dallas Police Assisting Kaufman County in Finding 12-Year-Old

UPDATE: 12-year-old Connor Young was found safe in Dallas with his biological mother, 42-year-old Dorcas Young, in the Preston Hollow area. She does not have custody of him, and officials had said the boy was in grave or immediate danger. There was no word of whether Dorcas would face charges.

The Dallas Police Department needs helps from the public in locating Dorcas and Connor Young.  

The Amber Alert was initiated by Kaufman County authorities. On October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:35 pm Dorcas Young and her son Connor Young were reported missing out of Kaufman County.

In a recent update, they were last seen at The Shops at Park Lane located at 8080 Park Lane in Dallas. That’s why Dallas Police is now involved in finding them.

Dorcas Young is described as a 42-year-old black female. She is 5’4″, 220 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Connor is described as a 12-year-old black male.
