Alvin shooting leaves adult and juvenile wounded, suspect sought

ALVIN, Texas. Two people, including an adult man and a juvenile, were wounded in a shooting on Rolling Meadow Street in Alvin on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Rolling Meadow Street, where they found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The adult male and the juvenile were receiving medical treatment, authorities said.

Investigators have not made any arrests, but based on witness statements and evidence collected at the scene, the sheriff’s office believes the shooting was an isolated incident. Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the surrounding community.

The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and is working to identify a suspect.
