Aggravated Assault at the Hockley Burger King Leads to Vehicle Break-In and Gunfire
Wanted suspects

On February 10, 2025, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an aggravated assault call at the Burger King located in the 32200 block of Northwest Freeway in Hockley. The complainant, who was working inside the restaurant at approximately 10:02 p.m., reported witnessing two black males breaking into his vehicle in the parking lot.

The complainant confronted the suspects, leading to a physical altercation. During the struggle, one of the suspects pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired a round toward the complainant, though it missed. The suspect then proceeded to pistol-whip the complainant several times.

Following the assault, the three suspects—described as one black male, one Hispanic male, and one Hispanic female, all appearing to be under twenty years old—got into a Cadillac driven by the female and fled the scene. The suspects made off with $100 in cash from the complainant’s vehicle.

Evidence left behind at the scene included a pair of black sandals and two dreadlocks, which may help authorities identify the suspects.

Constable Mark Herman urges anyone with information regarding the incident to contact dispatch or local law enforcement.
