Juvenile Arrested After Hitting Deputy in the Face During Fight at Spring Burger King

On December 12, 2024, deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance call at a Burger King located in the 444 block of E. Cypresswood Drive in Spring, TX. The call reported that juvenile males were involved in a fight inside the restaurant.

Upon arrival, deputies attempted to detain a juvenile male who refused to comply with verbal commands. The juvenile resisted arrest and struck one of the deputies in the face. A brief struggle ensued, after which deputies deployed a department-issued taser to safely subdue and detain the suspect.

The juvenile male was arrested and charged with Assault on a Peace Officer. He was later released back to his parents.
