Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Standoff at College Station Motel
Scene at Motel 6

On Tuesday, October 15, College Station police responded to a stabbing in the 1600 block of Brentwood Dr. Officers located the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds, and learned the suspect had fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Further investigation led officers to a Motel 6 in College Station, where they located the suspect, Terrence Foley of Bryan, inside a room. Foley barricaded himself inside and refused to cooperate. SWAT, the Hostage Negotiation Team (HNT), and K9 officers were called to the scene to assist. Despite attempts to negotiate, Foley continued to refuse to exit.

SWAT breached the room’s window, prompting Foley to surrender without further incident. His daughter was briefly detained during the standoff but was later released.

Foley is facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Burglary of a Habitation.
