Houston Police Investigating Fatal Shooting and Wounding at Fondren Road Gas Station
Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting and the injury of another individual found at a gas station located at 3941 Fondren Road, near the intersection of Westpark Drive, around 3:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 11.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, has not been officially identified pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The wounded male, also believed to be in his 20s, was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
According to reports, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and discovered two males suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that had crashed at the aforementioned address. One of the males was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics at the scene. The second male was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were shot by a suspect or suspects believed to be driving a newer model, white Dodge Charger.
