Six Arrested in Downtown Lubbock Human Trafficking Operation
Six individuals were arrested as a result of a coordinated human trafficking operation conducted in Downtown Lubbock. The operation, carried out on August 25th, involved the combined efforts of the Lubbock Police Department’s Special Operations Division, Homeland Security, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Lubbock Fire Department.
The joint operation yielded arrests on various charges.
Sharah Ranson, 33, faces charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, and prostitution.
Faith Garza, 24, was taken into custody for prostitution and was also served with five warrants issued by the Lubbock Police Department.
Timothy Houghtaling, 52, was arrested for solicitation of prostitution.
She’Vontavia Bell, 29, was apprehended on prostitution charges.
Ravyn Norwood, 26, and Kiana Banks, 20, were both charged with prostitution.
