Fatal Shooting Under Investigation in South Houston Apartment Complex

The Houston Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday night at 4700 Wenda Street, specifically within the Cullen Park Apartment Homes in South Houston. The incident took place at approximately 11:25 p.m. on December 10.

The victim, believed to be a man in his 30s, awaits official identification pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Responding to a shooting call, HPD patrol officers arrived at the apartment complex’s parking lot to find the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of now, investigators are working to determine the motive behind the shooting and identify any potential suspects. At this stage, no motive or suspect has been identified.
