Hit-and-Run Incident Leads to Arrest of Two Women in Harris County

On November 28, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 19100 block of Cypresswood Drive. The victim reported that the at-fault driver and her passenger engaged in a verbal altercation, displaying aggressive behavior.

Attempting to document the situation, the victim took out her cell phone, but the passenger, identified as 20-year-old Alyssa De Los Reyes, forcefully snatched it from her hand, causing damage. The suspects fled the scene following the altercation.

Deputies located the suspects nearby and identified the driver as 24-year-old Sarah Pearce. Both individuals, Pearce and De Los Reyes, were subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.

Sarah Pearce faces charges of Fail to Stop and Give Information, with a bond set at $100.00. Alyssa Delosreyes, charged with Criminal Mischief, received a bond of $500.00 from County Court 1. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
