Suspect Arrested for Making Terroristic Threats Against Homeowner’s Dog in Atascocita

On November 27, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 12200 block of Elm Orchard Trail in Atascocita. The suspect, identified as 51-year-old Danny Taylor, was detained upon their arrival.

Investigation into the incident revealed that Taylor had threatened to kill the homeowner’s dog if she did not return to the residence. The threat included cutting the dog’s throat and disposing of the body in the trash. The shocking encounter was captured on home security cameras equipped with audio.

Following the discovery, Danny Taylor was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Terroristic Threat, and his bond has been set at $3,500.0.
