Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Federal Road Under Investigation in Houston

A fatal crash occurred on 880 Federal Road around 5:40 p.m. last Friday, November 24, prompting an investigation by the Houston Police Department. The male victim, aged 28, was riding a black Suzuki GSX motorcycle northbound near the specified address.

The crash transpired when the driver of a southbound silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck attempted to turn into a business center parking lot. While crossing the northbound side of Federal Road, the motorcycle collided with the pickup truck.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the victim to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The identity of the victim is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The driver of the Silverado, a 41-year-old male, remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired. He cooperated with authorities, providing information during questioning, and was subsequently released.

As of now, no charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
