Houston Woman Arrested for False Report of Firearm Threat
On September 21, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 12800 block of Swords Creek Road in northwest Houston.
When deputies arrived, 28-year-old Sandra Fayetta Smith reported that a known acquaintance had threatened her with a firearm. Deputies launched an immediate investigation, interviewing the alleged suspect and collecting evidence.
As the investigation progressed, inconsistencies were uncovered, and Smith ultimately admitted to fabricating the claim.
Smith was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with False Report to a Peace Officer. Her bond was set at $100 by County Court 3.
