Motorcycle Collides with Uber Vehicle in League City Intersection Crash

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – On August 8, 2025, at 10:13 p.m., the League City Police Department responded to a major accident at the intersection of Enterprise Avenue and Marina Bay Drive.

The first officer arrived on scene at 10:16 p.m. and found the crash involved a motorcycle and a single vehicle. The officer began administering first aid to the motorcycle driver while additional officers checked on the vehicle’s driver and passenger.

League City EMS arrived at 10:17 p.m., taking over medical care for the motorcycle driver, who was transported to a local hospital. The vehicle’s driver was also transported, while the passenger was released at the scene.

According to preliminary investigation and witness statements, the vehicle—driven by an Uber driver with a male passenger in the rear seat—was stopped at a red light on Enterprise Avenue, preparing to turn left and head east onto Marina Bay Drive. When the light turned green, the driver proceeded into the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by the motorcycle, which was traveling westbound on Marina Bay Drive.

The League City Police Department Crash Investigation Team responded to conduct a crash reconstruction.
