Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Four in Online Child Solicitation Sting

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has arrested four men following a two-day proactive undercover chat operation targeting individuals who use the internet to solicit sexual acts from minors. The operation, conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) and Human Trafficking /GANG Unit on July 30 and 31, resulted in several felony charges.

The men arrested are:

  • Dominique Smith, 38, charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.
  • Hossam Hasan Farraq, 35, charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor, Evading in a Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
  • Luis Rodriguez, 36, charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.
  • Marc Anthony Fuentes, 33, charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The multi-agency operation received support from the Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit, which provided assistance with surveillance and arrests, and the Auto Theft Unit, which offered drone air support. The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, Missouri City Police Department, Richmond Police Department, and Sugar Land Police Department were also key partners in the initiative.

“Our top priority is the safety of our children,” said Sheriff Eric Fagan. “These arrests serve as a strong reminder that we will not tolerate those who attempt to exploit our youth. I’m proud of our team and grateful for our law enforcement partners who share this mission.”
