Repeat Burglary Suspect Arrested After Traffic Stop, Linked to Smoothie King Vandalism

A traffic stop on June 19, 2025, led to the arrest of a man suspected of burglarizing a Smoothie King the previous night and causing significant damage with a sledgehammer. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office apprehended 49-year-old Raymon Williams in the 14700 block of Telge Road.

During the traffic investigation, the deputy recognized Williams as the individual seen on surveillance video breaking into the Smoothie King located in the 14000 block of Grant Road. He was found to be in possession of tools consistent with those used in the break-in.

Further investigation revealed that Williams has an extensive criminal history, with over 20 prior arrests for burglary to a business and multiple convictions. He was also currently out on bond for a burglary to a building case out of the Houston Police Department.

Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Business. He is currently awaiting bond out of the 496th District Court.
