One Dead, Three Injured in 10-Vehicle Crash on I-35 in Round Rock

A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near RM 620 left one person dead and three others injured Monday morning, the Round Rock Police Department reported.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 11:40 a.m. following reports of a collision involving 10 vehicles, including a dump truck. The crash disrupted both northbound and southbound traffic.

According to the preliminary investigation, a northbound vehicle made a sudden lane change, striking another car and causing a chain reaction. The impact forced a dump truck across the concrete median, where it collided with vehicles in southbound lanes.

Alexa White, 35, of Fort Cavazos was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three others sustained minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
