55-year-old Man Fatally Shot in Southeast Houston
Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred on Friday evening in southeast Houston. The incident took place at 6146 Glenhurst Drive around 7:55 p.m.
The victim, identified as a 55-year-old male, was found unresponsive in the driveway of a residence by HPD patrol officers who responded to a shooting call at the location. He had sustained a single gunshot wound, and despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification to his family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
