19-year-old Woman Dead in Possible Road Rage Shooting in Southeast Houston

Houston Police are currently investigating a tragic incident involving a fatal shooting and injury in Southeast Houston. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (March 10) near Grimes Park, specifically at 5100 Reed Road.

According to reports, one woman, aged 19, has tragically lost her life due to the shooting. The identity of the deceased victim is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Another woman, aged 26, sustained injuries from the incident but is reportedly in stable condition after being transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities responded to a shooting call at the specified address, where they discovered one female victim unresponsive in the median of the roadway. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The second victim, also female, suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a male suspect shooting at the victims before fleeing the area in a vehicle.
