Woman Places GPS Trackers on Estranged Spouse’s Vehicles, Currently Wanted

A woman is wanted by authorities after allegedly placing GPS tracking devices on her estranged spouse’s vehicles without consent.
On May 23, 2025, Sergeant Pleytez with Constable Mark Herman’s Office launched an investigation after a complainant reported that two GPS devices had been unlawfully installed on vehicles parked at 6800 Fox Knoll Lane.
The complainant stated that his estranged spouse had been arriving unannounced at various locations and causing disturbances. He suspected she was using tracking devices to monitor his movements. During the investigation, Sergeant Pleytez obtained legal requests for subscriber data linked to the devices, which identified 51-year-old Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez as the suspect.
Gonzalez could not be located to provide a statement. She has been charged with two counts of unlawful installation of a tracking device. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
