Woman Found Shot Dead at 7700 Main Street; HPD Seeks Information

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 7700 Main Street around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4. The victim, believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, has not yet been identified, pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen, patrol officers responded to a “person down” call at the address and were informed by Houston Fire Department paramedics that the female had possible gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
