Woman Fatally Stabbed After Argument at Houston Convenience Store; Suspect at Large

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to a stabbing at the Super Stop convenience store located at 7821 State Highway 6 South.

Deputies arrived to find a female victim, identified as 43-year-old Anna Sanchez, suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported by Life Flight to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives learned that Sanchez had been involved in a verbal altercation with an unidentified Hispanic male inside the store shortly before the attack. During the confrontation, the male suspect stabbed Sanchez and fled the scene on foot. The motive behind the altercation remains under investigation.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, medium build, approximately 25 to 35 years old.
