Woman Drugged and Stole From Men in Downtown Austin; Police Need Help Identifying Suspect
The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit is reaching out to the public for help in identifying a female suspect connected to a series of drugging and credit card abuse cases in the Downtown Austin Entertainment District. The incidents, involving potentially drugged male victims, resulted in the theft of credit cards and cellphones. The stolen items were subsequently used for fraudulent purchases, totaling over $75,000.
The suspect is believed to be linked to multiple incidents reported between early 2022 and December 2023. Descriptions of the suspect include a white female with blonde hair, approximately 5’6” tall, of heavy build, and wearing facial makeup.
Authorities urge anyone with information related to these incidents to contact APD’s Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Alternatively, tips can be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program via austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. Informants providing information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
