Woman Charged Twice After Road Rage Gun Threat in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas — A woman is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly pointing a handgun at two people during a road rage incident, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded on April 8, 2026, to the 13600 block of Eastlake Boulevard after receiving a report of a person with a weapon.

Investigators said the victim reported being confronted by a female driver following a road rage encounter. As the victim attempted to leave, the suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at him.

The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Adleena Zhana Sibande. Deputies located her and recovered the firearm before taking her into custody.

Sibande was initially booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with bond set at $20,000.

During a follow-up investigation, detectives determined Sibande had also allegedly pointed the handgun at a second female victim. Authorities obtained an additional warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with bond set at $25,000.

She was rebooked on the additional charge and remains in custody.
