Woman Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop in Harris County

On January 23, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 4000 block of Richey Silver Street in the Silver Springs subdivision of Harris County. The driver, 23-year-old Marvella Ayala, refused to stop, prompting a brief pursuit by deputies.

Constable Deputies successfully stopped the vehicle, leading to the identification of Marvella Ayala. Subsequent investigation revealed that Ayala was out on bond for Aggravated Assault.

Marvella Ayala was arrested and taken into custody, booked into the Harris County Jail. She faces charges of Fleeing a Police Officer, and her bond was set at $500.00 by County Court 12.
