Two Teens Shot in West Midland Incident: Police Investigate Aggravated Assault

Midland Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident late Saturday night, February 24, 2024, at around 10:49 p.m. at Midland Memorial Hospital. The first victim, an 18-year-old male, arrived with multiple gunshot wounds, reportedly from an incident near Scharbauer Sports Complex in west Midland, across Loop 250.

Shortly after, a 15-year-old male arrived at MMH with a gunshot wound to his foot. Both victims provided information about the location of the crime scene, which was subsequently located by officers. The incident is being classified as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
