Two Teens Killed, Four Wounded in Shooting at Houston Party Venue

Houston police are investigating a deadly shooting that left two teenagers dead and four others injured late Saturday night, December 14, 2024, at a party venue located at 10126 Jensen Drive.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at “The Curfew Club” around 11:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they observed a large crowd of juveniles and young adults fleeing the scene.

A 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were fatally shot. The 14-year-old female was later identified by her mother as Azyria Bankhead.

Four other victims—all females—were hospitalized. A 13-year-old remains in critical condition, an 18-year-old is in serious condition, and two others, aged 17 and 19, are in stable condition.

Witnesses reported seeing a tall, thin Black male suspect dressed in all black, including a hooded sweatshirt and a mask, firing a pistol into the crowd.

No suspect(s) has been identified.

The Curfew Club is a pop-up party place that describes itself as a teen club.
