Two Men Shot During Dispute Outside Round Rock in Williamson County

Two individuals were shot following a dispute that escalated into gunfire in the 2200 block of Chandler Creek Road around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting just outside the Round Rock city limits and found that both individuals involved had sustained gunshot wounds. One of the victims was transported to a hospital by a private citizen, while the other was transported by Williamson County EMS.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the two men. Commander John Foster of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division stated that the incident appeared to be isolated and posed no ongoing threat to the public.
