Two Men Arrested in North Houston Investigation Involving Stolen Apple Watch

HOUSTON — Two men were arrested Saturday during a follow-up investigation tied to burglary of motor vehicle cases in the Northside/Northline area, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
Deputies responded May 16, 2026, to the 300 block of Melbourne Street while investigating suspects connected to vehicle burglaries.
Authorities said deputies made contact with two men identified as 52-year-old Mark Ybarra and 31-year-old Michael J. Crutcher.
During the investigation, deputies allegedly discovered the suspects were in possession of a stolen Apple Watch.
Investigators also learned Ybarra had an active warrant for theft, while Crutcher was wanted out of Angelina County on a probation violation related to tampering with physical evidence.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.
Officials said Ybarra’s bond was set at $101 through County Court 15, while Crutcher was denied bond.
Mark Herman praised deputies for their investigative work, saying proactive policing efforts led to the arrests and recovery of stolen property.
