Two Arrested in Forest Lane Murder
Dallas Police have arrested 30-year-old Desmond Gregoire and charged him with Capital Murder, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Evading Arrest on Foot.
Dallas Police also arrested Miya Taylor, 29, and charged her with Capital Murder.
The investigation determined Gregoire is the suspect who shot and killed a man on May 15, 2023, in the 9500 block of Forest Lane.
Gregoire was taken into custody with the assistance of Dallas Police Project Safe Neighborhoods and Northeast Crime Response Team.
Following the arrest, officers seized a weapon and backpack from Gregoire containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Dallas Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
On May 15, 2023, at about 12:50 pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 9500 block of Forest Lane. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found Ktrell Rodgers, 26, shot at the location by an unknown suspect. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
